Appointment

Piston rings are used in internal combustion engines. Devided into compression or oil-control ring. Compression rings are designed to prevent pulling gas from the cylinder into the crankcase and oil-control rings prevent the penetration of oil into the combustion chamber.
Used to replace worn or damaged spare parts during repair works.

Properties

Rings are made of cast iron or steel in a form of round elastic rings with a cut. Oil-control ring differs from compression ring as it has a number of pass-through openings, through which the oil falls under the ring, and then enters the crankcase.
