The history of the company started in 1905 in Ohio, USA, under the name Dayton Rubber Manufacturing Company, from rubber production and staff of about thirty people.

In 1917 there was the merger of Carlisle Tire with Rubber Company in a new industrial corporation.

Since 1990 Carlisle begins to rapidly develop its production and actively diversify the range of products. As a result, new factories not only in the US but also on the market in Canada, China and Holland.
