Destination

Depending on the location in the units and mechanisms of the combine, it enables the operator to control the rotation speed of the shaft:

• of the sloping chamber
• of the threshing drum
• of the fan
• of the return elevator
• of the head of the grain elevator
• of the drive of the separating drum
• of the straw chopper

This spare part is used for replacing a worn out or damaged unit during repairs.

Properties

The operation of the frequency rotation sensor is based on the principle of variation of inductive resistance of the coil with a steel core during changes of the air gap in the magnetic field.
A steel disk with slots or protrusions or petals attached on the shaft the rotation of which has to be identified causes cyclic changes of the inductive resistance when it passes in close vicinity of the sensor.
The electronics count the amount of these changes per time unit, process it and display it on the screen of the board computer it in a way which is convenient for the combine operator.
Structurally, it is executed in a metal housing with a threaded portion and a hexagonal head containing a sensor with a slot for connecting a cable.
