The mud-seal (boot) as a rule has a ring form of rectangular section on which one corner there is an extended edge. Depending on direct application in specific nodes of agricultural machines hydraulic systems apply seal of various forms. As the main material for production of a mud-seals polyurethane and rubber (NBR - a nitrile rubber) serves. Also as a material can act fluororubber as FKM/FPM or EPDM rubber. The design of a boot can contain in itself or on the outer side an fiber reinforced metal ring. The duster can be also double, performing function of a hydraulic seal.
