Application
A spare part for the header reel unit of the CLAAS combine.
Destination
It is a mandatory element of the grain header which is used for distributing the cut stalks equally along the length of the header and prevents them from wrapping in large amounts on the auger.
It serves for replacing worn out and damaged parts during repairs.
Properties
A sprocket is a profiled hexagonal wheel with holes for fixing finger pumps provided at its tops. It is made of sheet steel by means of pressing.
Its surface is reinforced with pressed rifts in the shape of triangles from the centre to its edges. This component is paint-coated for protection from weather exposure.
Features
In order to reduce the total weight of the header, a part of the material inside the rifts of the internal sprocket is removed.
