Designation

Ensuring the free rotation of main jornal part in the housing of the engine body in the process of its work.
Used to replace worn or damaged parts during repair works.

Structure:

Paired thin-walled steel parts with a half-moon cut, which are fitted with tension in the over-processed cylindrical crankshafts in the process of engine assembly.
Journal bearings (inserts) are made of a steel tape, covered with a layer of lead bronze and a thin layer of lead alloys, which provide high antifriction properties of the surface.
The upper and lower journal inserts of the bearings are substitutial.
