Spare part for Valmet diesel engine.
Designation
Ensuring free rotation of the connecting rod journals of the crankshaft in the mounting hole of the connecting rod of the piston to the engine during its operation.
Used to replace worn or damaged parts during repair works.
Structure:
Pair of thin-walled steel parts with a crescent-shaped cross-section, installed with a fit in the ultra-precise hole of the connecting rod during engine assembly.
Connecting rod bearings (liners) are made of steel tape coated with a layer of lead bronze and a thin layer of lead alloys that provide high anti-friction properties of the surface.
The upper and lower connecting rod bearing bushings are interchangeable.
