Engine PERKINS 4.154

The PERKINS 4.154 is a diesel engine manufactured by Perkins Engine Company Limited. The distination 4.154 indicated four-cylinders and 154 cubic inche (2.5 L) capacity.

Family name of the engine 4.154 is the GA and is part of series of engines PERKINS 4.154/200.

It's a range used on all applications industrial , agricultural, vehicles and marine as well.

Liners can be easily replaced gear distribution make a reliable engine with easy maintenance. The cylinder head as a special treatment and cross flow type. Rocker levers have a bush and are steel forged . Rotating valves increaase the life.

Designed with sister engine 6.231 but only produced by licencee Toyo Kogyo (Mazda). Later developed into 4.165/6.247 family.
