Application:

Liner of cylinder unit is the most important element of the engine housing. Its inner surface along with the piston form a combustion chamber. Also, liner serves as a guide during movement of the piston.

Structure:

Liner of the cylinders belongs to the class of hollow rods. It is made of gray cast of iron hardness. The inner surface of liners has the highest grade of purity processing and is called "mirror" of the cylinder. This serves to reduce the friction of the piston and piston rings, as well as to create a reliable seal.
To increase the resistance, inner surface of the liners harden to a depth of 1-3 mm of high-frequency microwave.
