Structure
Crankshaft - a detail or unit (in the case of a composite shaft) of complex shape designed with the following elements:
Crankshaft neck - shaft support of main bearing of engine crankcase.
Crankpin - place for installation of rods with channels for lubrication of connecting rod bearings.
Web of crank - connect crankshaft neck and crankpin.
The front part of the output shaft - a place for installation of gear wheel or PTO pulley to drive gas-distributing mechanism (SRM) and various auxiliary components and systems.
The back part of the output shaft - a place for installation of flywheel or massive gear wheel of main power.
Counterbalance - unload main bearings of the centrifugal forces of inertia of the first-order unbalanced masses of crank and lower part of the rod.
