1. Engines Mercedes OM 314
The diesel engine manufactured by Mercedes-Benz, four-stroke, volume - 3780 cubic centimeters, that corresponds to 345 cubic inches. It is one of 300 series engines, issued shortly after the Second World War. Specifically OM314 was released in 1964, along with 6-cylinder analogue OM 352 and replaced the predecessor - OM 301 that gave at 6-cylinder 55 hp.
There were two models of engines 314 (OM 314 and OM 314 A). In combine harvesters used OM 314. Designation "A" indicates turboversion of the engine.
These engines are very popular and widely used in the 1960s for heavy loads cars. In particular licensed by Mercedes-Benz plants in Brazil and South Africa have developed their production.

It is one of 300 series of engines, issued shortly after the Second World War. Specifically, the OM 352 was released in 1964 and replaced the predecessor - OM 312, which gave at 6-cylinder 80 hp.
There are three models of engines 352 (OM352, OM 352A and OM 352 LA). OM 352 A are used in the combine harvesters.
These engines are very popular and widely used in the 1960s for heavy load cars. In particular licensed by Mercedes-Benz Indian company TATA established output of 713S autos. In fact, the same engine drives Ukrainian buses ETALON manufactured under TATA license.

Mentioned engine has not gained much popularity, but used in the 1980s on heavy engineering and trucks. This engine was mounted on a heavy combine harvester CLAAS Dominator 100.

These engines are the latest in 300 series. With the introduction of environmental norms Euro II they were replaced with 900 series engines.
