In 1983 a 800 series of Massej Ferguson harvest combines were introduced.  Their warking technology was almost completely identical to the previous 500 and 600 series of harvesters. The design was also not considerably changed rather previous series.

Six-cylinder Perkins engines set series 300 combines in motion, except the MF-860/865 models on which eight-cylinder V-shaped engines were installed. In 1984 on MF-850 and MF-860 combines started establishing cascade separators thanks to which productivity of cars increased by 10%.
