The German company IWIS is one of the world's leaders companies of the industry and a world active leader in the field of high-precision, high-quality chain drive systems for cars and industry.

The Winklehofer family began its history in 1916 in Munich, Germany with bicycle chains. The company has been supplying chains to BMW, Adlerwerke, DKW, Hanomag, and then to Daimler-Benz (Mercedes-Benz) and Opel since 1937. IWIS owns several brands (JWIS, Elite, Eurochain, Ecoplus, Flexon), and also manufactures spare parts for SWAG and Febi.
In the line of chains, a special place is given to ELITE series chains, which have much greater resistance to wear and significantly exceed the requirements of international DIN / ISO standards. The ELITE range guarantees the highest quality products. The company is now represented in 45 different locations around the world and has more than 2,000 employees.
