Purpose

Providing power to the main electrical consumers of equipment - ignition, lighting, air conditioning, on-board computer, battery charging system and other equipment.
Used to replace worn or damaged parts during repair and restoration work.

Properties

A complex electrical unit that converts the mechanical energy of the engine's rotating shaft into electrical energy. Consists of a rotor, stator, and output voltage stabilization system, housed in a housing with fastening elements and terminals for connecting to electrical consumers. The generator rotor is driven by a V-belt from the engine crankshaft.
