AB SKF is a Swedish international automotive company founded in 1907. It is one of the world's largest manufacturers of bearings, various seals, lubrication systems and mechatronics (combination of mechanical, electrotechnical and electronic components in a single functional unit).

SKF company (Svenska Kullagerfabriken) was founded in 1907 in Sweden. As a result of invention of the engineer Sven Wingquist - self-aligning ball bearing.

Today SKF is the world’s largest manufecturer of bearings and bearing steel. It is an international industrial group, represented in 130 countries and has 80 factories and 150 trading companies with staff of 41,000 employees. Of every 100 of bearings that are used throughout the world - 20 are of SKF brand.

Concern produces 600 million bearings per year (or 19 bearings per second) from the smallest - 1 gram to the largest - 55 tons. The product range covers 95% of the world's existing standard sizes.

SKF factories are located in Argentina, Brazil, France, China, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, UK and USA.
