Combine harvester CLAAS Dominator 112CS - 116CS

Combine harvester CLAAS Dominator 112CS - 116CS

The Dominator 106 CS combine was the first ultra-power combine harvester of CS series. Subsequently the name of this series was changed into Commandor, the latter had 8 transversal separating cylinders of 450 mm diameter. The next Dominator 116 CS was 20-25% more powerful than its predecessor, more comfortable, but also 30% more expensive. The noise level has reduced (less than 80 dB). The main negative feature was an expensive repair. In 1990 the Dominator 116 CS was substituted for more improved model – Dominator 228 CS. In these machines an 8-cylinder Mercedes-Benz engine was changed into a 10-cylinder engine (330 hp). The Dominator 228 CS became a world record holder, having collected 8358 tons of wheat during 1 hour, and having covered an area of 44,5 hectares.
