First small-sized combines – Dominator 56 and 76 were applied in industry in 1978. They were fitted with modernized control board. There was a new cab with tinted glasses and additional heater in these models. The design was quite modern and stylish.
The Claas Dominator 106 refers to the combine category, possessing maximum carrying capacity; it was completed by the reaping-machine with horizontal grasp of 3,9 m, 4,5 m, 5,1 m and 5,7 m – and it was able to adjust to the relief in the longitudinal and transversal directions. The reeling machine is height-regulated by hydraulic servo. The capacity of grain bunker was 6500 l, engine power – 170 hp. The Dominator 106 and 96 models have replaced Dominator 85 and 105 combines.
