Combine harvester CLAAS DOMINATOR 80-105

Combine harvester CLAAS DOMINATOR 80-105

The Dominator combine harvester replaced the flagship Senator combine. The Dominator 80 combine is the first type of combines, which was widely spread among farms. This model was created in 1970 and it still was without a cabin.

Since 1971 a serial combine production, including a cabin installation, was arranged. They were equipped with 4,5 m reaping-machine and 120 hp diesel-fuel engine. The Claas Dominator 100 combine appeared in 1972, its prototype was Dominator 80. In comparison with its predecessor, it was higher-powered and had a large grain tank. The main feature of this combine was modified design of the delivery screw conveyor and increased surface of the straw rake. The combine was equipped with 170 hp diesel-fuel engine of Mercedes-Benz brand.

In 1974 Dominator 80 and 100 was replaced by Dominator 85 and 105 models. The Dominator 85 is the first Claas combine capable of harvesting on the sloping surfaces because of reaping-machine adjusting to the relief. It was fitted with 120 hp engine of Perkins brand.

The Dominator 105 is an improved model of the Dominator 100 with increased productivity. The combine has 6 shafts of straw rake and 4-level grain cleaning with 5500 l grain bunker. A closed cabin with heating and cooling system is provided. The combine is equipped with 180 hp diesel-fuel engine of Perkins brand.
